STAYING WHERE?

This Hacienda belongs to one of my yoga students when I lived in Mexico. Patricia offers a very good service and is a very nice lady. I know she will be very helpful in making our stay great.

The property in Mexico has two different houses Hacienda Clemente Jacques as well as La Villa San Clementito.

Hacienda Clemente Jacques - in the Tradition of Mexican Country Estate. This villa, reminiscent of the traditional Mexican haciendas, is built on 10 acre compound. In addition to its six bedrooms spread out through four floors, the house has inviting living, dining and recreation areas, as well as a beautiful outdoor patio, with dining for 12 or more persons. Relax and pamper yourself in this spacious and comfortable home.

La Villa San Clementito - is 4000 square feet of luxury and modent amenities. It has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Native materials and traditional construction methods were integral considerations at every step from design to completion. This faithful attention to local history and architecture is evidenced by the stone exterior and the colorful and tasteful appointments inside.

Tepoztlan is a small town nestled between craggy cliffs located to the south of Mexico City in the State of Morelos. Pigs and burros still abound in the street and the sound of cocks crows pierces the early morning hours, and the local residents are fiercely proud and protective of their cultural heritage. It is a town of legends and deep cultural roots that has been appreciated by writers, poets, artists and musicians over many decades and centuries. 

In addition to mountain views, the villa is conveniently located to Tepoztlan (five minutes). The area's craggy mountains and jagged cliffs are spectacular. It is officially recognized as one of Mexico's magical areas. Outdoor activities are splendid, including swimming, bird watching, hiking, mountain biking, sightseeing and golfing at nearby courses. Major archaeological sites are close by.

WHEN?

Arriving in Tepotzlan on March 20th, 2007. March 21st to 27th Yoga Retreat. Leave sometime on the 28th.

SCHEDULE?

The schedule is to be decided with the participants to accommodate their plans. Yoga classes will be offered twice a day with the option to include meditation, field trips and outdoor activities.
